Why, hello there
We question everything
What’s the trick to cooking a tender, flavorful salmon filet? Why does everyone have a million lids in their cupboards? Why are cookware sets all made of only one material? Is that pan really going to last 42 Million Times™ longer than all the rest? What’s with all the marketing mumbo jumbo? We think there’s too much, well, baloney in the cookware industry — so we work day and night to design fiercely practical products that have been looked at from all angles, and whose features aren’t just marketing shticks.
How do we do it?
We don’t believe in designing from a desk. If you really want to create good products for people, you have to roll up your sleeves, step out into the world, and spend real time with the people who will be using your products. Here’s how we do it.
Step 1: Find food lovers around the world
Step 2: Invite ourselves over to cook with them
Step 3: Notice when things get a little hairy (or overcooked, or ouch-inducing)
Step 4: Come up with wild design ideas that solve these problems
Step 5: Put our prototypes to the test to make sure they’re awesome, in real kitchens
Step 6: Bring our designs directly to you
Step 7: Start back at one
